Chelgate Local Team Expansion

 

Chelgate Local, a specialist division of Chelgate Ltd, is proud to announce the expansion of its team, with three new staff members joining the ranks. The newly appointed team members come from a diverse range of backgrounds, bringing expertise in planning, media relations, public affairs and politics, complementing Chelgate’s existing strengths.

Mark Walker, Account Manager

Mark has had an extensive career working within local, Westminster and European politics, public affairs, town planning and the news media. He studied for an MSc in Town Planning at the University of Brighton during the Covid-19 pandemic subsequently working as a planning officer at Adur and Worthing councils before entering consultancy as a planner at the law firm DMH Stallard LLP. Mark has also worked on a wide range of residential and commercial planning applications, as well as appeals, enforcement issues, site appraisals, call for sites and local plan representations on behalf of clients. Previously, he worked for over six years at the Policy Exchange think tank, as a Parliamentary researcher for a shadow minister in the House of Commons, and for two senior members of the European Parliament in Brussels and Strasbourg.

Caitlin Delaney, Account Executive

Caitlin graduated from Cardiff University in 2022 with a degree in Politics and International Relations. Following her graduation, she joined a leading public affairs headhunting firm, based in Westminster, where she specialised in working with transport and infrastructure clients. During this period, she gained an invaluable insight into the needs and public affairs demands of the infrastructure industry. Having joined Chelgate in November 2024, Caitlin is currently working on several housing developments in the East Midlands and South East.

Max Abdulgani, Account Executive

Max graduated from the University of York in 2024 with a degree in Politics and International Relations. Whilst at university, he campaigned for a political party and managed the affairs of a parliamentary candidate and newly elected MP. Max has internship experience working with high-profile politicians at a national level and has also written for several university publications on geopolitical events and party politics in the UK. Having joined Chelgate at the end of last year, Max is currently working on several housing developments across the Chelgate Local division.
